Senior Software Engineer

Location: Budapest (hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements, estimate and prioritize efforts
  • Write and test code to ensure completeness and correctness
  • Adapt to and expand existing software stacks
  • Design and build new software components from scratch
  • Find innovative, scalable solutions for complex problems
  • Focus on performance, extensibility, and maintainability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in C, C++, algorithms, concurrent programming
  • Experience with one or more GPU programming APIs (e.g. Vulkan, D3D, OpenGL, Metal, OpenCL, CUDA)
  • Familiarity with build tools, version control, scripting (e.g. CMake, Git, Python)
  • Cross-platform development experience (e.g. Windows, Linux, Android, macOS)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with continuous integration environments
  • Familiarity with image processing and graphics rendering techniques
  • Familiarity with GPU and CPU architectures
  • Familiarity with shading languages (e.g. HLSL, GLSL, MSL)
  • Open source development experience
  • Expertise in any related field (e.g. image and video compression technologies, physics simulations, capture devices)
  • Interest in technical editing, specification
